EVERY MARK WITHIN THE PIECE, EACH SCRATCH AND TEAR, CAN BE TRACED BACK TO A MOMENT IN TIME WITHIN THOSE FEW DAYS IN SCOTLAND.
WE BEGAN CASTING THE HANDS OF ALL THOSE THAT HAD WORKED THE LAND OVER THE PAST TWENTY YEARS AND OF THE FAMILY WHO LIVED THERE.
STONES AND ROCKS WERE COLLECTED FROM THE RIVER BED AND SHAVED TO CREATE FLECKS OF LIGHT WITHIN OUR HAND CARVED RIVER BED.
